Hello everyone! My name is James and I'd like to thank you for your interest in my book club.

The reason I started James' Segue Media was because I love stories - especially books and movies - and I wanted to create an opportunity for myself and others to learn a little more about the kinds of stories that are popular among both Japanese and Western cultures. I'm proud to say this is the Tokyo's first all-English media club and I'm very much looking forward to hearing what you have to say!

So let's have an in-depth discussion and share our personal recommendations over some snacks and have a great time together.

個人レッスンでお気に入りの映画や本について会話してみませんか？

ポーツマス国立大学でスピーチについて専攻して学んできたので映画や海外ドラマに出てくるニュアンスや表現などの外国人の文化に触れている人出なければわからないものを細かく解説していきます。

留学を目指している方や海外移住、海外勤務を視野に入れている方への英語試験対策や面接対策なども行なっています。

Segue Mini（セグウェイ・ミニ）とは

　セグウェイ・ミニ（以後セグミニ）は、英会話の初心者の方向けのレッスンで、海外ドラマを字幕無しで見れるようになる内容となっています。

　外国人は海外ドラマや映画をネタに会話することがたくさんあります。日本語の字幕では伝えきれないニュアンスや、文化を理解していないと笑えないジョークなどを徹底的に解説します。

　「セグミニ」を受講することで、『気づいたら前より英語が理解できてる！』と感じたり、外国人の友人に「あなたともっと話したいわ！」と言われるようになるきっかけになるでしょう。
